Hello I’m DeAera. I ‘m so happy you’re here to get to know me.
First and foremost, I am a child of God. I am a mother.
I started my journey in the beauty industry in 2014 when I was signed with a modeling agency. I began booking fashion shows, photoshoots and television. Being a part of this boosted my confidence! I loved traveling, clothes, shoes, & makeup. I loved meeting new designers, models, MUAs, actors, and being a part of that atmosphere but even more so the networking and building relationships with the amazing individuals I‘ve met along the way.
During my time in the modeling industry I realized I needed more! I realized that I got excited about being behind the scenes rather than being in front of the camera.
My passion grew much stronger for beauty and fashion. So I took the steps to start learning everything I could about the beauty industry and figured out what was best for me. I began college in 2017 and started my career in media studies…I co hosted my university’s talent show and every show I made sure to look the part. It was so fun to be on the stage as before, but something was still missing. I enjoy making others feel good about themselves, because when you look good, you feel good. So what better way to encourage others to partake in self care. After graduating college in 2020 during the pandemic it gave me time to think about my future. I’ve always said I want to wake up everyday and love what I do. I began doing lashes, which led me to further my education in the beauty and wellness industry. I enrolled in Indiana Wellness College while being three months pregnant and it was the best decision I could have made. God certainly ordered my footsteps. I found a love for waxing while in school. It is instant gratification, while also being rewarding not only to myself but to others.
Mission Statement:
Everything I do and everything I create is based on what I believe in. That you are already beautiful, so anything “extra” is an enhancement. To enhance inner beauty and confidence one by one. I will strive to give each client a personable experience. Happiness is contagious, and with enough optimism, creativity, and determination you can have it all. Aiming to provide top tier service in a fun, and relaxing environment, while using quality products. I want to empower women, and expand love and light.
Vision Statement:
My long term goal for EnhanceD is to continue to bring out the confidence and inner beauty in every individual I come in contact with. Continuing education and perfecting my craft is always utmost importance because I always want to be better than I was the day before. I aim to please, and will remain up to date when it comes to new trends, techniques and technologies.I appreciate each and every client because with your support I have the opportunity to expand my craft and continuing enhancing others.
Most importantly, my children Dominic and Kaileese are “my why”.
They motivate me everyday without even knowing it. I want them to know anything is achievable, and with hard work and dedication any goal is attainable. Being an entrepreneur gives me the ability and privilege of dreaming bigger and drives me, as I am able to visualize my future. My ultimate goal is to create residual income and generational wealth so my children can live out the desires of their hearts without the burden of financial instability.
